Darlene Rempel

With a Bachelor in Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor, Darlene worked in the physiotherapy field as a Clinical Kinesiologist for five years prior to her Pedorthic endeavours.
Havin an aptitude for problem solving and hands on work, combined with a desire to specialize and focus on lower limb mechanics her interest in the field of Pedorthics was sparked. Several years ago, after an internship with Mike Forgrave, Darlene received her Certified Pedorthist (Canada) from the College of Pedorthics of Canada and continues to be an affiliate and associate to Mike Forgrave & Associates in Kitchener. As Chief Clinician and owner at Foot By Foot Inc. in Woodstock, she enjoys the challenges of lower limb sport injuries, having played at the Provincial and University levels herself, but also appreciates the importance of proper footwear and support to the average foot. She is also consultant to Physiotherapy clinics in Guelph, Brantford and New Hamburg.

Darlene enjoys an active life filled with a variety of sports and activities including; volleyball, mountain biking, ultimate frisbee, slo-pitch to name just a few. It wouldn't be unlikely to catch Darlene on a run with her Jack Russell Terriers on a hiking trail.
